Yes, my very old Softride with 9 speed Dura Ace on it. Next bike will be a Litespeed CR-1 or Cervelo S5. Other priorities are keeping it on the wish list.

The bike is a Softride 650 Classic. It was built in 1999 before the UCI banned them. Trek built the "Y" bikes for competition, and they got the whole beam bike trend shot down by the head of the UCI because he said "these are not bicycles" when they showed up at the starting line for the 2000 Tour de France. They remained popular with tri-athletes until they were also banned from world level competition. They are ridiculously better than bikes with seat tubes and seat stays.

I bought mine as a bare frame with beam in 2005. I had it powdercoated blue (originally yellow), and built it with the best Dura Ace components of the day. One year too early for 10 speed. It has completed 10 Century (100+ mile) rides since I built it, and has done many, many training rides.

The Silver Comet trail, 31 miles from my starting point.

Cruising along, shooting pics of the trail...
