Default Hide The Plate

So I just mounted this baby and figured i had to show it to you all. It is called a Hide The Plate. It is motorized and has a remote that you can slide it both ways. The mount is made out of metal and seems to be pretty sturdy. You can pick it up for $150. Took me about 30 min to put it all on.
Hope you all enjoy

Wish I'd known about that before I drilled my front bumper. I think the F looks so clean without the front plate--its a shame we have to put it on. Reminds me of james bond. ..Wheres the control mounted for it?

This just might have helped me make up my mind. I am looking at tow hook Grimm speed or hide way plate holder. That motorized plate holder is bad a$$!

Exclamation

I thought about this too...

But my plate would become a "skid plate" since I'm lowered... Might work out for OEM ride height..

Thanks for sharing your video.

So the officer stops you for no plate and then when you express surprise and he/she walks you around to look, lo and behold - there it is! Priceless.

I just did a police ride along the other day too and they target cars with no front plates because they are usually stolen. That is a great way to save your appearance and still have legal evidence.

This is awesome, but as Joe Z said I'm worried it might be a skid plate, How well is this bolted on?

That automated plat thing is pretty handy, you could mess with a police officers head...

Talking

So the story behind this goes... I got pulled over on my way to school. Turns out that this cop is notorious for pulling people over for not having a front plate. He said he would give me a ticket if he saw me driving without a front plate again.... Challenge ACCEPTED.

So i am driving with my plate down until i get pulled again hopefully by the same cop and when i am stopped i am going to raise the plate. The module is wireless and its a little thing you can put on your key chain. It works at about 15-20ft away. So when he says why don't you have a front plate i am going to tell him to go look at it. Then i will proceeded to complain to that city that I was pulled over for no reason. Don't mess with The F

Its not going anywhere. The guy that owns the company has it on his 550whp sti and says it won't start flapping until around 150-160 mph.
