New Strut-Tower Bar on the ISF (pics)
Just a few pics of the latest little trinket i installed on my Lexus ISF. I got it from Lexustuners.com (IIRC)
Just a little strut tower bar. Do i NEED it? Nahh......probably not. I dont NEED any of the ****** i put on this car. LOL - here's the pics.
Had to cut the plastic to make room for the bar. My cut is STRAIGHT but the curved plastic makes it look uneven or squigly at certain angles......but it is actually very straight.

Looks really clean and well built! You could probably put some edging around where you cut, might make it fit in a bit better.

Looks Good, But can you actually feel an improvement? BTW, on the F, it's a Shock Tower Brace. We have shocks on the front (and rear) not struts.
I put an STB (Strut Tower Brace) on my old G35 Coupe, and I could feel the stiffness difference just backing out of my driveway.
I doubt the STB on the F will have the same effect.

i dont know man i hit an off-ramp today, one of those long looping, 25mph ones......at about 50, and it felt different then normal. It did feel better. It felt like it was glued to the ground. Was it all in my head? i dont know. Maybe. Im sure there are plenty of experts to tell me it was LOL.

A strut bar's benefit is commensurate to how much the chassis flexes in the first place.
The ISF is a stiff chassis to begin with for street purposes. For all out racing track purposes, I do not know because I dont track mine.
You would have to literally drive your car to the limit to get it to flex and then you make your comparison.
All I say is, if it looks good and makes you feel good, then you are good.
