I apologize if this question sound pretty newbie..... I did do quit alot research but....the more confused i got....


I have a 2008 IS-F with OEM HID. I planning to switch it to the 6000K HID bulbs on low beam and get a 6000K HID kit for the fog lights.

However my question is:

1. I know the head-light bulbs will be D4K replacmemnt bulb. But should i get 55W or 35W? what is the different? and i heard 55W might be too hot to 'Melt' the housing or lens?

2. As for the Fog lights kits, can i use H11 Kit like my 06, IS250 or i have to use 9006 (HB4) Kit? also, 55W or 35W?

Opinion question: My IS F is Mercury Silver, should i do 6000k Fog (white) or 3000K (yellow) goes with the 6000k low beams?

get the 35w. ur not gonna notice the difference. u can use ur h11 kit from ur is250. i say stay with JDM colors. get the fogs in yellow and the low beam, get them in 6k.

I'm getting 5k low beams installed in about 2 hours, not sure if I'm going to get fogs, I'll post ups pictures later to help you decide.
