Default Sub and amp install pics into my IS-F

A couple of CL members (VJ),(DCool) and few others have recently contacted me after seeing my sig wanting some info on my sub install. It was pretty straight forward stuff power, signal and ground. Also was going to install VAIS soundlin Q2 that I had purchased in Nov 2010 when I got my F but unfortunately the wiring harness change on 2011IS-F so was unable to install it. So here are some equipment and install pics.

Parts List
JL Audio W6v2 Sub specs

I went this route because I wanted to be able to remove sub box when ever I need to such as when going to track or having to carry something large in trunk.

Very clean install Dave! Thanks for the writeup. I'll consider this later on when I get tired of the bass... Your system was thumping as we were cruising through NYC!

What did you do to secure the box from moving around while driving?

That box looks bigger than 0.75cuft. How does it sound? I just did the same thing two weeks ago very similar to what you did. Nice work!

I used two billet aluminum L style brackets nice and clean nothing fancy but it works.

Sorry did take any pics when I installed LOC, grabbed signal coming from factory sub. Going to try taking the signal directly from factory amp see if I can here any difference in sound quality.

I think if has to do with fact it's 1 inch MDF all the way around the box, and W6v2 in that box is just killer could not be happier and sound out put is incredibly rich and clean low bass. Watching moves in car is just fantastic experence now.
