Lou,

No bubble bursted at all! I appreciate the heads-up. I just pulled the trigger on 4 S-04 PP's from costco for around $1200 installed. I'm hoping that's a fair price. Now I just have to wait for my local costco to receive the tires and I'll be able to get these new shoes broken in!

Thanks again for the feedback.

Adding a question to an old thread:

Starting the search for new tires and currently trying to decide on a size. Currently on stock sizes but I always hear good things about the wider tires. I drive 2011 ISF by the way.
Looks like everyone recommends 245/275 combo but what about the 285s? I understand the concern to keep the diameter as close to OEM as possible and it seems like 285s do a better job? So why go with 275? Is mounting on the smaller wheels a problem compared to the '12-'14 ISF's?
Also, are there any issues with rubbing on the 285s? I'm at stock height and currently don't have any intentions to lower it.
What about the 255s? Is that a better combo? 255/285 vs 245/285? Will the 255s rub in the front?

I know it's a lot of questions but I couldn't find much info on the 285s for the 08-11 ISF's. Thanks in advance.

Options:
A. 245/35-19 (F) 275/30-19 (R)
B. 245/35-19 (F) 285/30-19 (R)
C. 255/35-19 (F) 285/30-19 (R)

I've been running option B for years on my '08 with not issues. Stock wheels, stock ride height. Bridgestone S-04s do a nice job.
