Gotcha...think I already have a source. Pick up my brand new car tonight! Still miss my GT-R though.

Default Love the sound

After hearing the clips, I think I am gonna go for some of those electrical cutouts. That way, the wife, the few times she gets to drive, or when the family is in the car, I can keep it sounding stick. But, when I want, I can open the cutouts, and by pass the mufflers and the secondary cats. Too bad I won't get the weight savings, but life is sometimes a compromise.

sounds nice...love the rumble of the F! I really want to make a custom Corsa set up for mine...just need to find the right catback system that I can hack up & put on the F & find someone who can weld stainless steel too if need be

That sounds mean...sounds way louder than stock.

I really want to do this, and for $250 this is a must. What would you recommend doing when smog check time rolls around?

No smog check in florida!
I do like the idea of the open and close dump valves on the exhaust, that may be a way to pass your smog check...

^ those electric dump valves are silly. I had em in one of my older cars. The electric motor blew twice before i took it out. Having the dump valve open makes a messy exhaust flow and prob wont make any power without giving the engine enough time to adjust

This thread isn't about the speed, it is about the noise.

I may be doing this mod on Monday. So what is the consensus from those of you that have done it. This is my daily driver and I'm just trying to figure out if this makes it stupid loud with drone or not. My goal obviously is to give my car a bit more attitude but I also don't want my neighbors to be shooting me dirty looks every time I pull in my driveway.

Oh yea your right, I forgot that you started this thread

This mod free's up some hp and reduces close to 45lbs. Those 2 are a great combo for speed

I love the exhaust note with this mod. People give me thumbs up, plus my gf approves of the grumble.
The car will have a drone right under the 2k rpm range, nothing wild but it does.
If you were really worried about the drone you could always replace the mufflers with magnaflows and delete the cats.
Or you could keep the mufflers and remove the cats.
Oor be a man and do both
