The touch up paint is a perfect match if done right...I'd recommend you buy the the touch up paint and take it to a professional and it'll get fixed up like it never happened. It might cost a pretty penny though because they will sand down a little around the chips and then paint/clear coat.

Dont worry though it can be fixed...Don't try the touch up paint by yourself though because it is trickier than they make it seem.

Dr Colorchip will also be color matched - it will work well and is a better solution to the average joe, than touch up paint.

Here's a example of before and after from a second gen

Not my car - I have been following this thread for years on the IS forums and most seem to be very pleased with the results - As far as these things go, most say it is a better system than Langka.

I've use Dr. Colorchip on my blue IS-F. It works pretty well, probably about as good as you'll get with touch-up paint. I had a chip about 1.5x the size of a bb, and after using the Dr. Colorchip touch-up, you can't see it from 3 feet away. Get up close to it and you can, but it's still hard to find. The color matched perfectly. My only complaint is it doesn't fill in the chip much, just colors it.
