Why is the navigation chick whispering?
Of course I am new to the IS-F line, [ please be patient, thanks ] but in my 09' IS-F the navigation chick is whispering. I can really barely hear her. Is there some reason for this? Can she be turned up so I hear her better? Maybe I am going deaf, but I can barely hear her with the radio turned down or off.
I have noticed quite a few differences in the inside controls of the F and the LS ... it's actually quite interesting.

I know in the 2011 you can change the volume and the speaker it uses to do the voices between the center and driver speaker.

The buttons on the right of the screen press set up. Then press voice on the onscreen buttons. You'll see the selection to raise the navi volume

Stick bubble gum on the speaker.
Seriously, there is no option to change "Jill," the Toyota nav chick, to anything else. Just one of the limitations of the OEM system. But on the plus side, the OEM nav does dead reckoning where the aftermarket units can't, and if the aftermarket loses GPS, you're SOL. Not so with the OEM system.
