What's up guys!!! Since the 2011 ISF have the LED strip in the front of the headlights, I was wondering if the OEM 2011 headlights are interchangeable on the 2008 models? The reason I ask is I love the look of the newer headlights and was considering this for my next mod on my 08.

Has anyone done this conversion to the newer headlights? And if so, pictures would be appreciated. Thanks guys!!

Yes its possible and Sewell sells the 2011 headlights but I think you loose the AFS feature. There is a huge thread in the 2IS section.

Thanks Djsai!! Loosing the AFS isn't to big of a deal to me, but I wouldn't mind not loosing it.

I'll have to check out this discussion in the 2is forum.

I like the new headlights too. But it looks like almost everyone is having a bubbling issue with the black paint.

Yea.... I just read about it and it looks like I'm going to hold off till the issue gets resolved.

I'm still wondering if the 2011 headlight specs are the same as the 2008 so it's a clean swap. I still need to do some research to find that info. :P

It's not clean with just a headlight unit swap. Your AFS ECU is going to complain about the missing functionality. Read the 2IS thread for details.
