How are you adding fuel especially since it's Direct injection and there is no FPR from what I understand.

I'm surprised your plugs melted only, usually if you get an engine that hot, you will melt pistons and such.

Well at least 7m's and 2jz's do that's for sure.
I'll be running the methanol for fuel enrichment as form of knock protection. The system will have window switches and other protective measures in place.

So you think running the stock plugs is best because those will fail before any other damage occurs.

Pretty good. Are you running a 150 shot?

What tire/wheel setup are you running. I'm looking into getting slicks but really don't want to buy Volks just to put Micky's on them.

I've never thought about it that way, but that has been the case for me.

Go with Enkei RPF-01 wheels. Lightweight and cheap.

My current drag setup is actually a set of RPF1s wrapped in nitro NT05Rs. I'm really considering buying a set of 17's because finding good slicks in 18`` is very difficult.

You think a set of 17's would clear the brakes?

I don't think that would be a problem, 17" should clear the brakes.

I bought two 17" re11 Volks with mickeys et drag 2. Made that pass with 100 shot turned on right out of the hole with the car barley warm when it was 45 degrees out. The second the car does a pass it's heat soaked for 20-40 minutes and I fall back to 12 flat

With the right offset they will clear the rear of the vehicle only.

Im bringing this back from the dead. Has anyone thought about spraying a dry shot through the MAF so it can instantly add fuel through the injectors.

Trying to hit 10.99 on an IS-F is going to take 650 hp and a trap speed of 130+ mph. As far as I know, there is no way to raise the stall so nobody is ever going to get a good 60' time which makes it very difficult to break into the 10s.

Im thinking 550whp and a good DA. Will definitely get there this season though.
