Default IS-F wheel spacers thread.

Hey guys - just looking to get some opinions of wheel spacer options out there for our cars.

Can those who have them note the spacers they used and their experience with them?

I want to run 15mm Spacers all around, and I only plan to lower the front end with H-techs. I will likely only upgrade my tire sizes from 235's front and 265's rear. What should my side wall size be in those sizes? remain with 40 / 35 per stock or go to 35/30?

I am looking at these spacers: http://www.protuninglab.com/ic-v2515-0054.html

just wondering if there is anything I need to do to make them fit or if they are straight bolt on?

Thanks guys,

I think the stock wheels would look really good more flush, especially when lowered.

My car is slightly lowered with 15mm spacers and I love it. I also need tires, but am a little worried getting any size bigger then stock will be a problem with rubbing. I'm not interested in shaving any fenders.

You mean the same spacers in this thread? I hope you have better luck than this guy did.

I personally would not run spacers unless I was using them to correct an improper offset, but I'm not driving a fashion statement either.

If you do get spacers, try one of the vendors on the forum. You can probably get them for less than that website.

Yikes, from the cracking to someone replacing a wheel bearing....maybe I might just steer clear from spacers.

Thanks for that post - greatly appreciate it.

If I were to get spacers, sounds like H&R is the way to go - however I wouldnt want to mess with changing OEM studs for longer ones.....so this option is out too I guess.

im running the 15 mm h&r's all around on teins and am very happy with the look. i do rub just a touch at full lock reverse with stock tires (passneger front fender), so i dont think i could go any wider when i buy tires next time.

^^ Can you post some pics? pretty please. lol

Also - did you have to replace the studs with longer ones or does H&R make them now for straight bolt on?

^^^ I think your front wheels are on the wrong sides....

P.S. - I have never run spacers on any car I have owned or operated...

Thanks for the heads up...I don't think they have ever been opposite before this install...the mechanic probably just didn't realize, I will get them right when we install the new tires next week.

Thanks again.

I had to run 5mm spacers in the rear because I bought my wheels second hand from an IS350 owner. The rear offsets weren't enough to clear our calipers. Other than that, yeah, if the car was meant to have a wider stance, Lexus would have designed it that way.
