I'm at about 23 mpg mixed city/hwy. The best i've ever gotten is 27 on the hwy driving up I-5 back to the Bay from SoCal.

Bringing this thread back from the dead,
I have a question for all you DAILY F Drivers:
About how many times are you filling up your tank on a 7-day week commute basis, and how much do you spend a week on gas? When I fill my tank up with 93 it usually costs me around $50-55. However, my F has not ever been my daily driver so I can't evaluate...

Interestingly enough, my mileage is equal or better than my 350, at this point. Since we've been getting warmer weather, my MPG has increased into the 20 mpg range.

80+ miles/day commute. Mostly highway, 65-75 mph. Average is 22mpg. Nobody drives more efficiently than I do. No fast starts, no hard braking. I can't get anywhere near the highway mileage that I got with my C6, where I averaged 28 mpg on highway trips, cruising at 80-85. I also did slightly better, 24mpg, in my GS460.
The 2011's fuel mileage calculator is very good, I have checked it against the actual miles/gallon purchased. My mileage is certainly disapointing, given what I was able to get in the Vette. I am driving slower, too...
I get around 325 miles per tank, so I am filling up with 93 every 3 to 4 days.

Awesome fuel mileage in the F.
Hello all. This is my first post on this site.
Bought my car used; I am the second owner...but extremely happy second owner. First owners loss, but my gain...
So far, this car is very impressive in all regards; handling, acceleration, comfort, V8 noise, options, reliability, and yes...fuel consumption.
About a week ago, drove from San Diego, north, to "Super Car Sunday" which is located off of Topanga Canyon in Los Angeles. In total about a +110 mile road trip one way.
I was easily able to get 29.75 mpg (calculated by mileage driven on trip A and gallons used at the pump).
Cruise control set to 65 m.p.h.
Windows down and sunroof open for the drive home.
8th gear is my friend.
Center display noted 28.X mpg for the drive up, and 29.6 for the drive home. It took a lot of restraint not to plant the pedal to the floor. I think if I had gone a little further distance-wise, or if traffic didn't get a little heavy at the 405/101, I most likely would have gotten 30 mpg.
Driving to and from work drops the mileage though, since work is only about 2 miles away. Traffic lights, stops signs, and school zones kill me. But still I can manage 19-22 mpg. Worse or better depending on driving style...usually worse

Never checked mine as it's pretty bad and I don't want to be frightened Also, it's "pedal to the metal" as in the metal firewall.

I am really amazed with the MPG results of this car. I have been getting pretty consistant 26-27mpg from the car all month. I drive mostly highway miles, 60 miles round trip each day to work. I was getting about the same results from the M3 previously, this is great for a V8!
