20" Vossen CV1's - fitments for IS-F
Hey guys - I'm hoping some of the wheel / tire experts can chime in here.
I'm considering the Vossen CV1's, but want as much concave as I can get. Sizes are 20x9 F / 20x10.5 R.
Some may have seen it on CL already, screen name is Calvin I believe, but he has +20 F / +25 R with an 8mm spacer on the rear making it +17, and this is on his IS, non IS-F.
I know our cars are a bit wider in the rear, correct? So I assume this +20 / +25 fitment should work depending on tire size. That is where I am needing a bit of help.
My ideal tire sizes are 235/30 up front and 285/25 out back - can someone chime in here and let me know if this will work? I plan to drop the front only with Tein springs as I have seen this done on other 20" set ups and like the look. If I have to roll my rear fenders, Im not opposed to it.
Help?

Talk with Vossen directly! I know a guy with an ISF who used his car for photoshoots with Vossen. Vossens' should be custom wheels for the price and they would make them so that you wouldn't need a spacer.

I would love to, but Vossen CV1's only come in 20x9 / 20x10.5......as far as I know.
Chipster55: I assume its that Black ISF in the photoshoots?
From what I gathered, that set up was 20x9 +38 Fr with 235/30/20 and 20x10.5 +42 with 285/25/20........I could be wrong.
I want to get this type of concave and make it work:

You are way off on the offsets. Talk to Vossen directly and they can give you the exact specs based on their wheels.
That setup sounds about right, or you can go a little bit more aggressive upfront.
BTW you won't get the same concaveness on the F because the offsets are a lot weaker than a ISX50.

I asked Vossen a while back, here is the reply:
Hey Guilhem,
The wheels fit but do require fender modification, that's why we don't advertise the CV1 for IS-F fitment.
Personally, if I had an IS-F. I would roll the rear fenders slightly and run the CV1's with a 275/30/20 rear tire.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Could you confirm, please? I do not want to roll or shave the fenders
Thank you

Wait. Why does this not make sense to me. You guys are saying fitment on the ISx50 is better than the F?? Aren't the wheel wells wider on the F? Fender Mods need to be done for the ISx50 with 10.5" in the rear no??
