Default Hey new here New IS-F owner

Hey guys, I just purchased a Silver 2008 IS-F that has 39k miles on it and I got it for a great deal. I'm sure it was a past members car because it looks fully modded. It has a carbon fiber hood, trunk, front lip spoiler, roof spoiler, diffuser, an intake system, HID 6k fogs, upgraded HID xenons 6k, some type of sprint booster, tein coil overs, and a Catback exhaust. I know nothing about modding a IS-F, so please excuse me if I don't recognize some of the parts. I'm coming from a history of BMW's. In the past 3 years, I have owned a 2004 M3 convertible, 2008 BMW E92 335i, 2006 M5, and a 2007 M6. I'm really sick of BMW's right now and the only other BMW that I would own is the NEW M5 when it's released, so I was looking for something different in the downtime. Either it was a C63 or IS-F on my list and maybe CTS-V. The C63 has more power, but the interior is just horrible. Coming from all those BMW's I spent a lot of time in service and I figured the M-benz would be the same too. I test drove this IS-F today and bought it right after. I love the feel. It rides very harsh though, maybe it's the Tein coils? I've had coils on my M3 and 335i, but they were Bilstein and they were soft. My boy had tein on his M3 and they were harsh, so maybe it's just tein or its the IS-F in general. I will post pics tomorrow.

Congratulations and welcome. Not sure if it was a forum member's car, but I know which car it is. Has a Tein sticker in the back, right?

Congrats and welcome to CL! You don't have to modify your car anymore. Looks good enough and it's fast enough.

If someone can recognize specific mods from the pictures, feel free to chime in.

Thank you rhy for all your help.

He was right about the Tein sticker being on the back left . I got the car without the Tein sticker but the dealership sticker that was selling it was there .

Interesting ride - I like the front lip - the 2-tone is pretty well done on that car!

I think I know who's car this is too - he used the ventross rear diffuser piece COMBINED with our diffuser for that complete look nice!
