Ok boys... show me those GRILLES!
next project on my list: front grille
show/explain your custom setups and approximate cost. I am ok with either a complete emblem delete or at least blackening it out to go with my theme.

I keep toying with the idea of doing something more custom, but right now I have just painted the surround black (with ventureshield protection) with a black pearl emblem. In the past I've also wrapped the grill in black vinyl and it held up much better than paint, I've just had to redo it a couple times now. Others have bought the carbon fiber surround and it looks great too.

it seems as though my L emblem is different..it is bigger and seems like its solid with an acrylic type cover over it...does this mean that i have the pre-collision system or is it my adaptive cruise control radar?
what does this do for my grille options? thanks for the posts by the way!!!!

Grill: I used the same paint as the "L" emblem. I just used masking tape and painters plastic/newspaper. I taped around the edges very carefully, making sure none of the body of the car is exposed. This took like 45min to do it right and to make sure I don't over spray. I also sprayed 3 layers 20min in between each spray. After the last round of spraying, I left the tape and plastic/newspaper overnight so the paint could dry. Peeled all the tape and plastic/newspaper off the next morning.
My grill was painted several months ago, and it's holding well. I don't see any paint chips yet.

so i guess i do have the PCS system (pre collision?) so has anyone seen a custom grille with PCS?
I had the idea of doing the outer bezel with plastidip...bad idea or no?
