Will IS-F beat a GTR?

Will IS-F beat a GTR?
If you were to install intake, exhaust, and headers on the F, would you have a chance to beat a GTR? Or would you also need NOS? Or would you ever be able to make the F fast enough (within reason)? Just curious. If you could beat a GTR in an F, you'd have serious bragging rights.

We own both right now and short of installing forced induction, the IS-F doesn't have a chance (even with FI it might not actually). With that said, they are 2 completely different animals and both awesome in their own right. If I was to only have one to drive every day I'd probably pick the IS-F b/c of fit and finish and lower maintenance cost.

The GTR's 4WD system is the deal breaker here. Even the LFA is out accelerated by the GTR because of its ATTESSA system. You can add 200 WHP's to the ISF but the real question is, can it lay that power to the ground..traction!!!

Sorry Splat. No offense to anyone and no joking....honestly. I thought the GTR was too fast. But I have a buddy with one and he keeps talking about how nobody can beat him. I was just wondering if there was anyway possible I might be able to mod out my F to beat him. I doubt he will ever do anything to his stock GTR.

From a dead stop you probably never beat a GTR, now from a highway roll that's a different story. I could see with heavy mods an ISF beating a stock GTR from a 60mph roll..

Yeah, that movie was pretty funny.
One thing I've got my friend on is gas mileage. We get 30 mpg highway in our Fs. GTRs can only dream of that mpg. Lot's of other reasons the F is better IMO, but this is my favorite one to bring up - especially with gas prices rising.
