Default 20" System Forged wheels, final set up (w/ high res pics)

Updated pics with rear spacers to clear the calipers. I still need to roll the inside fenders. The tires are somewhat rubbing the fenders on depressed sections of road. The tires are significantly more noisy but i think that's a result of having non hubcentric spacers, not aligned yet either. I'm sure even after I have the setup complete and to spec, they will still be much louder... "No sacrifice. No glory."

They definitely make the rear look more aggressive. No 400 hp car should ever come with 255 rear tires. New rears are 285.

On a side note, my wife and I met up with my mom for dinner and I knew I had picked the right wheels when she said to me "Those wheels make that thing look mean. Mean and fast. Like something David Hasselburg would drive." LOL

I'm pretty sure she meant Hasselhoff.

I don't see how spacers can ever amplify road noise from tires.

That's funny. Hasselhoff? Okay, maybe back in his Knight Rider days.

The spacers aren't the same diameter as the hub and I didn't glue the spacers centered in to place or anything before bolting the wheel back on. I think that could affect the noise.

Yeah. I can believe it. I had zero complaints about my continental contisports on my 335. 275/30/19 tires and absolutely no road noise. Loved them. I can't imagine the cost on 285/25/20 contisports.... $1000 a pop probably. Thanks for the positive feed back. I really want to fix the gap in the front so who knows.... I might go lower. The front bumper is already F'd up anyways.

For sure. PM me your phone number. I actually put these on over at my mom's house which is right around the corner from Logan. I mentioned my friend Jeff that goes there, he has a twin turbo G35 coupe that you may have seen around campus before.

No clue. I'm going to guess not all that much for a 20" wheel since they're forged and have a thin spoke design.

Were these wheels fully custom or off the shelf? I ask because the spokes do not clear your rear calipers and you have poke requiring trimming/rolling your rear quarters to avoid rubbing. Did System Forged have an IS-F available before producing wheels for the car?

Your road noise is strictly from the tires and not because of the use of spacers. Nice work pulling everything together.

Bought them used off of another member with an IS350 so I figured it would require some modification to work. The price was really good so I didn't care what I had to do after the fact. It was only 5mm of spacing though so the offsets aren't too crazy.

They look so much better on your car than mine. I'm really glad you like them.
