Default Pics of new wheels! SSR material inside.....

I've always thought that the offsets on the stock wheels on the F were too weak looking. It always had the "ice skating" look to it. I did a bunch of homework and found a great set of wheels. What I was shooting for was:

1) More aggressive offsets without poking, but staying away from the "hella flush" look...I'm only sitting on Eibach pro-kits, so anything too aggressive would look 4x4
2) a flat black wheel that doesn't look like it's fighting with SGM to be the same color
3) 1-piece wheels that are lighter than the stock ones
4) slightly more aggressive styling without being too busy and still flow with the body lines of the ISF

I decided on a set of SSR Type F's in flat black. The fronts are 19 x 8.5 +42, and the rears are 19 x 9.5 + 38. At first, I was worried about rubbing in the back, since I have 275/30 tires. Luckily, Dunlop Direzza DZ101s run a bit narrower than other tires of the same size. My measurements showed that I would have about 2mm of clearance with the fenders....so I gave it a shot.

I absolutely love the look and fit of the wheels on my car. The front is definitely not as aggressive as other cars on here. However, since I only have a mild 0.7" drop from my Eibachs up front, I didn't want to go too aggressive in the front such that my car looks like a 4 x 4. Besides, the next offset for the fronts would have been a +22, which would make them poke

Anyway, enough of my blabbing. Here are some shots. I'm not an experienced photographer by any means, so please spare the bad picture quality.

And no..I don't have anything against the left side of my car

And here's a little something for the Chinese drivers out there...

I got the Dunlop DZ101s about a month ago. I absolutely love them. The ultimate grip isn't as high as say...PS2s or PS3s, but they're a very good tire for the money. The ride is much quieter and and feel less bumps in the road than I did with the OEM RE050s.

Yes, the first pic is one of my favorites....I wish it was sunrise during that pic to add more dramatic effect.
