From reading this thread I don't think this solves the issue most of us have.

For me at least... the issue isn't jacking up the car (I have a low profile that can reach the stock jack points), but once the car is jacked up I have nowhere that the jack stands can safely go due to their shape.

This is exactly what we need so the jack stand can safely hold the car at the spot welds as per the lexus manual:

This was custom made, and I haven't found any product like this anywhere... (I found this on the mustang forums).

Well its an interface adapter so you can use it for a jack or jack stands. The urethane matherial in the channel (not in the rendering) makes it actually clinch to the frame rail, so it will stick. That means you can jack on the cross member and use the jack stands at the frame rail. Most jack stands offer a flat interface in addition to a channel profile (that never fits) as well as two edge lips. This should fit accross our JackJaw to provide support.

Bringing this thread back...

I was watching a video on YouTube for an oil change on an IS250, and the guy had the jack stands under the highlighted areas (no idea what they are). Are these safe points for the stands?

I believe that's where the lower control arms meet the subframe.

Those are the LCA bushings and are probably aluminum clamps. Wouldn't be my first choice. Also if you are just changing oil, use some ramps. They are cheap and safe.

^^+1. You don't need a lot of lift for an oil change.

I wasn't watching it for the oil change, I watched it to see where the jack stands were positioned.

This is what I was +1 on. Those are the rear LCA bushing mounts, they're aluminum and I wouldn't put stands there unless I couldn't use the body seams. I always use the OEM jack points with my stands.
