Thanks for helping him out Im a little worried that its going to be too loud with headers and the exhaust but the power is more important... i heard there might be silencers coming out.... is this true Joe?

OK, can someone please clear this up for me, I put an aftermarket exhaust on my car warranty will be VOID? pleases tell me this is not true?

You may have a service consultant tell you they aren't going to cover something but I would call Corp. Lexus and have a major fit. They need to be able to say the part you added caused part failure. I would like to know how an exhaust is going to cause anything to fail... On the other hand, I wouldn't complain about rattles or something like that after an exhaust. A Lexus rep told me that if they could trace failure back to a performance part the failed item would not be covered. There are way to many things covered in your warranty to void it all for an exhaust. For example if your rotor failed, they are not going to deny you warranty because you have an exhaust. I have worked in many dealerships and the only car I have seen a company not stand behind at all with any mod is an Evo. But every dealership has the right to make their own call on warranty work. If you don't like their answer call Lexus corp customer care. Explain your situation, how you feel and see what corp says. They have a lot of pull with your dealer and most of the time work with them to make sure customers are happy.. Lexus has a very high customer service score for a reason. My two cents.

Sorry to bump this thread but I want to order the Joe Z exhaust and can see them denying any warranty claim in relation to the motor. I'm guessing they will say the increase of HP "stressed" the motor causing the failure?

I pulled the trigger last night and ordered the Joe Z from Carson Toyota. I have seen other F exhausts in person and the Joe Z hands down has the best quality. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that it retains the factory diffusers. No worries though because I have something up my sleeve.....

been doing extension research on the joez intake/exhaust...im about 75% sold on the product..would like to check it out in person to get the extra 25% that would push me to buy the product.

anyone in LA,CA with that set up?
