Sugar Land, TX: My Lexus IS-F stolen.

that's awful. Bastards.
At the end of 2008, I had my garage broken into on two consecutive nights (same people I'm sure) and a whole garage full of power tools stolen. I think it was the landscapers that were there that first morning...I had the garage open while they were there, and they got a good look at everything.
Then I moved to AZ, and had my s2000 stripped twice in 30 days...that's when I ditched the s2000 and bought the F, put a paging viper alarm on it, and moved into a new house in a relatively crime-free neighborhood.

that's exactly why i got lojack for my F. you never know. car theft seemingly has been on the rise this year- no question, as to the economic woes. but to have your F stolen is crazy without anyone else noticing. hopefully everything will be recovered soon. sorry this had to happen anson89. best of luck with the recovery!

To bad you didn't catch them doing it. But seriously that sucks. I had a car stolen, 2001 S2000, major bummer. However that is what insurance is for. Sorry for you loss.

after someone broke into my garage and took about $2500.00 in ammunition and such and i installed cameras, cheap insurance. Plus if you are a detailer as I am as well it is nice to have those for liability while having thier car in your custody.
Good luck, never a fun thing to be ripped off.

WOW broken in during daylight hours and no one saw anything? Sorry to hear man, I wouldnt expect that in SugarLand, I live in NW Houston. I'll keep my eye out for your blue ISF. Hopefully its not gutted or on its way to Mexico...
Any updates on what insurance/Police are up to?

Thanks guys.
I've been trying to think real hard these few days, and whose been acting weird around me and what not. What sucks though is that my aunt bought the wrong insurance for us which only covers DAMAGES on the house, not contents being stolen. So I just lost about $15,000 worth of items. What sucks though is that, as I am cleaning the house, my X'mas list gets bigger and bigger
And yes, I have come to the conclusion that it is most probably someone I know that has broken into my house and stole the items. Because I left the house on Friday 11.40am, my mom got home at 12.30pm and found out that everything was gone. All these happened within 45 mins. The house was still pretty clean, assuming that a thief would just a make mess when they dig through stuff. They just went through all the expensive items and knew exactly where they were.
I will be installing HD cameras around the house this week. I just installed a new set of alarm system.
Some of my items that were stolen:
THREE Macbook Pros
46" LCD TV
Xbox & Wii (All the games, controllers)
Nikon D90 SLR
Sony HX5V Digital Camera
Bushnell Scopes for Golfing
Ipod Touch
I'm just really glad that everyone's alright. It's just the fact that my family and I felt violated and the feeling of being "watched" by these thieves feels like ****. Will be armoring up the house this week and also bringing my mom to get a handgun license.
I'm not too sure about Sugar Land being the third best city to live in the country.
Thank you guys!
