Default Joe Z intake

For anyone with just the Joe Z intake tube and stock filter, did you notice a little drop in lower end power off the line?

No I did not, and even if you lost 10 or 20 hp in the lower rpm range you would NEVER feel it in a car producing 400+hp. gains and losses this small are only noticeable with a timing device your butt dyno is not that finely tuned.

Speak for yourself Ming. My butt dyno is a finely calibrated machine that had been tuned via a 1000 trips down the strip and VBOX.

Yeah, speak for yourself too. Those who don't feel a 10 - 20 hp drop in power aren't very connected with their car.

LOL, you're right, ming, you'll not likely feel anything different (either way) after installing an intake on our cars because we're talking small numbers, but as the 'finely tuned' hinies say, 10 to 20 you should feel.
Mine's an older 'finely tuned' hind end and I think I'd detect that.

If you meant that you'll get 10 to 20 out of an intake on the 'F' -- I very much doubt that.
JMHO.
