Rear Brake Squeak TSIB (Get ur free pads from stealerships)
I dont know if this has been posted but I thought I would post this. I went to the dealership to get my oil change done and my cool technician tells me there is a TSIB for rear pads and ordered them for me since they dint have in stock. I wished they had front brake TSIB too lol
I scanned the TSIB but am having problems uploading it here cuz they said they couldnt email it to me. I uploaded it on mediafire.
So get your free pads on and save money on rear brake pads and shims..

Cars brake and cars break. They are different and your spell checker won't help you. One stops the car on demand. The other just stops the car and makes you spend money at the dealer.

Thanks for the post. I also wonder why Lexus only decided on rear brake pad replacement. Maybe they think it's only the rear brake pads that are squeaking?
Anyway, please let us know how everything is after the TSIB.

thanks for the heads up man...appreciate it. My brakes have been squeaking as well. So how does this TSIB work? I just tell them my brakes are squeaking and give them the TSIB for the fix and they'll just change em out for me. Or is it harder than that?

^^ Well basically a Tech will have to confirm that your "Rear Brakes" are squeaking in order to qualify for the warranty LSB repair
TSIB has long been replaced with LSB => Lexus Service Bulletin

That rear squeal has been annoying since the car was new.

haha JoeZ I'm not trying to pull a fast one on the stealership. I've had the brake squeak on my 08 F since I bought it. I have told them before, but they just said it was brake dust. But now that there is a TSIB for the issue, I can get them replaced. I thought everyone was having the brake squeak issue? You havent experienced any issues with the brakes JoeZ? Also does this mean I have to tell the stealership there is a LSB not a TSIB, because the pdf the OP posted states this is in fact a TSIB??

^^ If you have the rear brake pad squeak, they will now fix it under the LSB warranty notice.
They are now indeed called Lexus Service Bulletins... and not TSIB's.
Look at the code: L-SB-0044-10
