In Virginia our Registration fees aren't bad, but the annual "personal property tax" sucks!! I just paid $1100 for the year and the previous year it was around $1300.

Hmm....just got my F so I don't know yet. Washington state is okay though; I think I paid around $160 last year for my 03 M3.

Can we add to the original topic and see what people are paying for insurance on their Fs?

I don't remember what the registration fee was but for my 2010 I just paid $966 for 6 months! Car property tax is such bs. it's supposed to go to road maintenance, but just because we have a more expensive car doesn't mean were causing more wear to the roads. IMO it should be a use tax.

What? AFAIK there is no car property tax in FL, and if there is I haven't paid it for the past 11 years! Registration I think is about $90 per year.

Mr2fast: I agree with you that car property tax is straight bs..

Juanca: $90 is a steal. I wish we had it that good over here in Cali.

never heard of car property tax before, but $90 for registration is practically free, considering the vehicle.

In FL I used to pay about $45 for registration renewal, but this year it went up to about $90. As I said before there is no car property tax and no inspection at all... woohoo!
