Best LSD brand for Street/Strip?
I am strongly considering adding the 4.08 read end + a clutch type LSD for Street/Strip use. I see options from several brands, at relatively similar prices:
1) Active Traction Service (ATS) - three models as seen in this thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...al-silent.html
2) Cusco - three models for sale at Bulletproof Automotive:
http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com...p?category=311
3) OS Giken - as described by Trackdood, custom order from Giken dealer?
4) Icode - $$$$, 1.5 way also at Bulletproof Automotive
5) Toms - $$$$, also at Bulletproof Automotive
Looking for your opinions on which brand, model, and type of LSD to go with. Anyone have real world knowledge of any of these brands, with an emphasis on drag use? Which brand and unit will be the most locking, for off the line performance.....I don't mind if it requires diff oil changes, but am slightly concerned about clunking, noise, etc. Thanks...

the only lsd on the market that has the internal oil pumping system tcd from is os giken. this has the system in which the oil is always pumped through the clutches at all times moving and reducing wear, heat and ZERO noise. IT happens to be the most expensive as well. for drag use i would have no idea. But it locks hard and it is customizable from OS if needed and you can also set it before installing. Although its a super expensive option diff and labor is gonna cost you in the 4-5k range installed.
