Dialed in offsets today, feeling pretty good about a 265/35 up front on a 9" wheel.

I had to double check the rear brake clearance today so that meant scanning with the 3D scanner.
here are the raw scan surfaces and the extracted profiles. I then created a reference plane that bisected the caliper and mapped the profile to get exact clearances. Things are going to be tight for sure.

Well its been too long. And it seems that the wheel partner I chose is also working with another vendor on here to bring concave mesh wheels to this market. Wheels were supposed to arrive before the new year but several machining delays and standard shipping are putting them here on the 21st. Since someone else released renderings I will try to post up pics ASAP, but I could have chosen the "mesh" design posted in another thread here and posted up the same renderings..whatever. I was told not too.
In parallel I have placed an order with BC racing for a set of 2-P forged wheels that will be even lower cost. Not concave but I have the option of making private label wheels to my specs are a later date. The second set will be black on black with 10mm more aggressive offsets. still 19x9 and 19x11 and I should have them in 2 weeks flat from Taiwan. Just giving an update for those that are not following on facebook. I have a lot of things going right now, but I see precise fitment wheels as a big part of 2011. PM me with any questions.

First of all FIGS, I love the work you are doing here. Thank you for all of the time and effort you have vested in the ISF.
I'm tired of seeing ISFs with heavy 20x9/20x11 only running 245/285 tires, or worse...those getting aftermarket wheels with ridiculous offsets barely able to run stock tire widths without rubbing. The wheels designs you are looking at are beautiful. What are the ballpark wheel weights for the 19x9/19x11 rims you are looking at? 9" and 11" rims with 265 and 305 tires sounds like a beastly package...love it.
Unfortunately I personally won't be getting any of this any time soon as my wife gave up her highly lucrative job to be a stay at home mom with our two-month old daughter.
