Default Palomar Observatory

Wednesday 6-30, three old guys and their sports cars made another canyon run this time from HB to Ortega Hwy, and finally to Palomar Observatory, the round trip was approximately 262 miles. As I have stated before each time I drive the F in the canyons I have a greater appreciation for it. The 8 speed is flawless, and permits me to find the RPM range that suits me while mostly in 3 gears. The handling is very good for a 3800 lb car, as I have a tendency to run away from the other two. This was the first opportunity for me to push the Vredestein tires, and I could not be happier, they handled the twists much better than the OEM Bridgestones, the grip was exactly what is was hoping for.

The 370 is actually a pretty quick car. We do have a lot of fun chasing each other up the mountain roads.

I am too, but really they each have their good points. The Z-4 reminds me of a hot little classic roadster, and the 370Z drives like a go-cart on steroids. Each fun cars, it is all about enjoying being behind the wheel, and features you need.
