My ISF turned 2
My ISF turned 2 years old last week. I've owned more than 50 cars in the past 10 years or so and this is the only one I've kept for 2 years.
47,000+ miles and she's been to:
San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Reno, Las Vegas, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York and Boston.
I'm still on my original brakes but I'm gonna need some soon.
Just had what I would consider my first "issue". The car wouldn't recognize the key so I couldn't get in the other day. I was at a hotel and after spending the night I came back to the car in the morning and it worked. Took it in to service after my wife said the car completely died on her once. They said some module related to the keys had thrown a few codes so they replaced it.
Other than that it's got lots of character flaws (rock chips) and scratched wheels from licking too many curbs but still runs like a top and is still fun to drive.

Mine just barely turned over 15k miles and the front pads about to go. I either need to learn how to brake from you or move away from LA traffics.

Congrats. It's good to hear a story like this.
Any comments on the stock suspension? You must've grown to like it since you've driven it so many miles. Maybe it's softened up a bit? I hear it can be killer on a long road trip.

No just a lot of highway miles where you don't use the brakes is all. By the way, stopping fast and hard rather than gently and long saves pads and rotors. I used to complain about my wife's hard, short stops but have learned to appreciate them!

my GS350 did that during the first year I had it. I had to take it in 3 times. twice for a new battery in the fob and the third time to have the ignition switch replaced. Its been cool so far. Its kind of frustrating when you show up to your car after a long hard day and it refuses to let you in
