I have the afe. Best way is to blow off filter with high pressured air. Make sure you do it from front to back like the air would come through the intake. If you cant find air then just bang it out. DONT USE OIL!!!!

Anybody else want to chime in about the Tom's filter/experiences??? I was leaning towards the AFE but after seeing this I thought maybe the Tom's would be better at flowing more air?

I have the Toms on my ISF. Back when I had nothing on my car, I felt like the car would breathe easier and barely improved sound. But it is still somewhat an improvement. It could be a placebo effect but I still think its money well spent!

Another good thing about the Toms filter is, its dry so no need for oiling it.

I've had AFE installed for close to a year now, no problems whatsoever and I just washed mine a few weeks back and it's working great.

I will also be ordering the TOMs drop in filter, so I can have two dry filters and swap them around when cleaning my filters.

One final note, are you guys serious about ordering anything from VIP autosalon? just do a google search or better yet search on this forum and see how they'll steal your money and leave you hanging... I still can't believe they're in business.
