I've had 5 friends with Audis. Four have lost their ECMs, one died while on the road driving. It's certainly not confidence inspiring.

Thanks to everyone on the feedback, it is greatly appreciated!! I have decided to wait until I find the right deal on an E92 M3 manual. Let the hunting begin!

Best of luck!

i agree with you for canada over pricing everything

my fully loaded is350 was like 60k out the door (2006)

and i shopped online and found in the states they had fully loaded is350s going for like 46-50 ?????

I would vote for the STI also, but the boy racer looks just kills it for me. IMO i would look into the new audi, reliability isnt that great but it has been going up since 06 i believe. and regarding a car from the states, is it possible to ship the m3 yet? i know you have to wait a few years before they begin to let you ship cars

IF you can find a used 2009 cady CTS -V in manual , then you are completely set for good . Nothing that has been mentioned so far can compare to this car . It is obviously faster than your previous car (IS-F) and handles the road much better plus the added benefit of having luxury. An STI hopped up as somebody has mentioned will be a money pit and by the time you finish you could have gotten a better car . Just my 2 cents !

I agree, a CTS-V would be a great option. It is a little heavy, but packs a serious punch.

Ok, F that!!! I am back! M3 is waste of money. I miss my F. I am not bugging my dealer for a good deal on a 2010! Too bad all the dealers on this site are from the USA. I need a good Canadian Dealer to give me a 2010 well below MSRP. The prices have gone up since my 2008!

At least the rates have dropped. With a $4500 security, I can get a four year lease for 2.1%.

Screw BMW and M3!

if your going to buy a whole new IS F, have you looked at used prices for audi RS4? they handle amazing with manual trans and it will give you a classy look with 4 doors

Build quality and reliability doesn't come close to Lexus.

Default F pricing

I was at the Toronto auto show last week and the new 2010 is-f was $74,000 loaded canadian . A 2009 is-f was 68,500. canadian with the same options . I asked the sales fellow why the difference in price and he stumbled for words to explain it , I told him it was dangerously close to a fully loaded 2010 Cady CTS-V with GM's incentives included : which is $75,600. canadian .
He agreed !
The new bimmer m3 is WAY overpriced here in canada , and the 2010 C63 amg is $72,000 canadian .

I would either pick STI or G37X coupe, but I don't think G37X has manual though.

Mitsubishi and Audi don't have good reliability, so don't even think about them.

The purpose of you selling your F was the lack of a manual and how you miss it driving a manual car. Now you want to purchase another one? Does not make sense to me. Get what you love and was suites you best.

I have a similar issue...I love the STI...The car is so much FN fun to drive! The problem is it looks like a kids car.

the Evo X would be my choice, it responds to Mods so well.

the stock manual tranny is a beast, i believe it can hold down almost 600hp, the motor on that thing is really solid as well people are boosting the **** out of it and tried to break it but havn't. but the interior is no where near any kind of luxury, very plasticy. i think it looks amazing too. really angry. at first i didn't like how they looked but eventually it grew on me. again you'd be kinda profiled as a racer boy.

my cousin who owns a STI wish he got an evo X
