the supra n/a or tt auto diff will bolt in place if the is-f diff, however you will have to also have to swap the inner axle u-joints to the flange bolt type ( no big deal ), BUT none of the supra n/a or tt auto gear ratios is close to the F and since the F uses wheel speed to determine alowable shifts in M mode there is a chance of overevving the engine with a numericaly higher gear ratio.. as for the differential unit it self the F uses a unusually large diameter pinion gear so the flange where the ring gear bolts to is offset further ovet to the left than the supra diff so thats not gonna happen...

Drive shaft won't fit either. I already did the side by side and measured. Distance from the mount points to the front yoke is very different, distance from the mounts to the axles is different...it's not a good idea to try the full swap.

^^ Looks like OEM would be the easiest swap...

.. Otherwise you will have to swap the internal unit with OS Giken or Cusco or TOMs..

hrm... bringing back from dead...

I contacted a JDM supply store that I used for years (used to be Japandy back in the day on ebay) Said he could get me the OSG for 126,840 yen which is only 1200-1400$ This is the E diff too!

Thank you for contacting RHDJapan and sorry for the delay! I think we can do it for JPY126,840 plus shipping. Where are you located?

So has anyone swapped yet?

We will be swapping in an OSG unit shortly and it has been done already with no impact to ABS or VSC. The TCD version is what we will be reselling, this is the multiple drilled clusthc packs which allow fludi circulation and makes things smoother. Contact us for info on the LSD as we are an OSG dealer now. Make sire its the right LSD for the IS-F. Get a part number because that is about 1/3 the retail price.

I asked about OSG in Japan, when I was looking LSD for the IS350.
There is only 2 LSD for the Lexus and the cheapest one is like 190,000 YEN.
But the problem I run into is the installation part, I will have to ship it to Japan and have them install.
