Tires...
Hey guys I am nearing the end of my current tire wear. I know nothing about tires. I currently have the Bridgestone Potenzas on my car. I have the Michelin PS2's on the top of my list, I wanted to know if there are any other good brands out there with the quality of the PS2's. Im looking for a great handling/performance tire. Any ideas and/or suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks

The PS2s are great However, when it's time, my current plans are to go with:
Dunlop SP Sport Max TT - 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.

If you've seen the tire ratings on the car and driver mag. they are pretty good.

If mechanical performance is your goal, you won't beat the PS2, and the Bridgestone is a close second. Both were designed specifically for this car. If keeping your rims from getting scratched by putting a rubber and cloth doughnut between you and the road is you biggest concern, buy whatever is cheap.

Im on my first set of Hankook's on my F and no problems. I grip from a 40 and can burn out without thinking... Damn a new set of ps2's is $1200+.

What makes you say this? Racing tires have far softer sidewalls than any street qualified tire. I'm not understanding why you would say the PS2s are weak.

A quick question, My car came with Bridgestone potenza's
Was wondering if its possible to go from
225 (front) and 255 (rear)
to a 235(front) and 265 (rear) set up with stock rims?
Potenzas are terrible in the wet. Ive spun once already and nearly took off my rear bumper. LOL.
P.s. I Know nothing about tires..
