If it were my IS F stolen I would hope they did not find it, because you know it is going to be messed up. Take the insurance money and feel good about the $57 a year I spent on Gap insurance.
I looked at Lo-Jack. It allows the police to find my damaged IS F before the insurance company cuts a check. Explain to me again the benefits of Lo-Jack?

Lojack also only works in certain areas. If they get the car into an area where it doesn't work, you are SOL.

I'm sorry, but every time I think about LoJack it makes me think its like having a stranger attack your virgin girlfriend, but the cops get there just after the deed is done because you put a tracking anklet on her. It'll never be the same again...

An F let alone for a long time is not a smart thing to do I might say...your basically telling the thief's to take it!

Sorry Man, I feel your pain my e46 m3 was stolen. Later found by the cops thanks to lo-jack. I really wish it had stayed stolen, after the interrogation that my insurance company put me through for 30 days I received a check for 18000.00 Long story short I still have a e46 m3 that was stolen and comes up stolen on carfax.Wish you the best of luck......

still no words on the car yet called the cops multiple times today to check the status but no luck. as of right now i just hope my insurance will do me right.
