Default Leftover 08's in CT under $50k...

If anyone is looking for a leftover 08 IS-F, Hoffman Lexus in East Hartford, CT currently has 2. According to the salesman that I bought my MM from, they still have a Starfire Pearl and Obsidian Black remaining and want them gone.

If anyone is interested, call Hector Ayala at (860) 290-6113.

man, if they still have 08 now, price probably should be in low to mid 40s...

At a price of high $40's, its really not worth saving only few thousand dollars buying used ISF with low miles.

you'll get the state sales tax money back on a new car under $49,500 anyways

^^This kind of slow selling is what killed the MkIV Supra in 98.

This is actually what I'm worried about... I can't believe there are still 08 F's sitting around, the same ones I looked at months ago.

I agree. My IS-F was delivered to Hoffman Lexus in March 2008! It really doesn't make sense why it took until June 2009 for it to sell.

The MKIV Supra was ahead of its time in 1993. It was a phenomenal car that the US wasn't ready to accept a price tag of ~$50k for a Japanese sports car when the LT1 Corvettes could be bought for ~$35k. In the mid 1990's, not too many were aware of the potential the MKIV platform was capable of. I've owned two 6 Speed 98 Quicksilver Supra TT's and by far that has been the car to beat in my opinion. Unfortunately I have a short attention span.

Really? With the current poor condition of the economy and, particularly, the automobile industry? This time, last year, the price of gas was approaching $5/gallon and, since then, record bank closings, foreclosures and unemployment hovering just under 10%. I think some of those occurrences might have impacted a decision to purchase a +$50K automobile.

I'm not trying to throw cold water on your good fortune, but please don't be oblivious to current events.
