prob. the cost involved to get a custom exhaust done, you might as well get the joe-z that has been proven with numbers and everything. Who knows yo might lose HP with going with a add on system, that hasn't been proven. look at the K&N drop in filters (by the way I put mine back to stock today).

i know the more and more i look at the joe z its actually pretty basic, and i may want to be different. i have been dissecting it and looks pretty simple to duplicate ofcourse not exactly. the difference between lowrideraz and joe z is just mandrel polished and mufflers maybe slight diff in x pipe but 1000 less. maybe if joe z has a group buy but if not i may build my own!

The JoeZ exhaust looks good and all but i chose a different route and ended up real happy with my results. Reason being i beat a car that got me by 1.5 cars when my car was stock.

you can do the same or similar set up going custom for ~600$....dont forget there is no shipping and no middle man if you do it direct. I think Magnaflow and Borla have a better sound for the Lexus line up but its all preference. I am doing this in the next month or so now that its warming up. I can let you know how mine goes. I am going with larger pipes and plan to boost the car.

Sure. I did a secondary cat delete and then a muffler delete.
I lost to a friends 335i that dynoed just shy of 400whp by 1.5-2 cars when i was dead stock.
After the mods i beat the same car by half a car in the same type of race

Do you know or can you measure the stock pipe sizing? It is probably metric at 50mm, 55mm or 60mm. (1.97", 2.16", 2.36")
To the original thread... pass on the flowmasters. Stainless offerings from Magnaflow and Dynomax are much better choices.
