I just love how the color codes are supposed to be 11GY38 & 11GY39 when these color codes can't even be found here in the US. All other colors mentioned in this thread are nothing even close to the OEM paint put on by BBS Japan.

Part of the problem is that Lobux's research is a "paint number" and has not been published as the 2-3 digit "paint codes" that we give to shops for mixing. What the difference is between these, I have no idea. This questions seems to always garner a shrug of shoulders.

I just noticed BTWanky's saying that Nissan's CS3 will match. I actually have this color on my Altima. Maybe it will look different on the wheels, but I'm not seeing it at all.

The paint code given by BTWanky DOES match, I bought some and used it to touch up one of my wheels.

I have an IS-F, SGM color. I have used its touch up paint on a small rim scratch and it matches well. I believe the SGM paint code is GO8.

My bad, 1GO. I knew it had a G and an O in it somewhere.

CS3 looks like bronze. 1GO is too dark. I think I get it now. Considering all the angles and low surface area, the relatively low light, the brake dust and maybe even the fact that men can't tell apart colors very well, the official answer for every time this question comes up is "If it looks close, it will work."

What grit/grits of sandpaper do you use?

What type of touch-up applicator should I use? (Paint pen, white out style brush, etc...)

Does the bumper to bumper warranty cover paint chips or paint wear over time on the wheels?
