Default OFFICIAL: R&D Completed: Medalion Touring Exhaust for the IS-F

Hey everyone, our R&D session is over and we are pleased to tell you that the exhaust will be available around spring 2009. No pricing is available as of yet.

The peak horsepower is 11.8 and gained 21.8 ft/lbs of torque.

Hmm Finally here and axle back. Big Tips. It gets rid of the controversial quad tips. How big is the piping? Will be interesting to hear how it sounds with those little mufflers

not really feeling the exhaust is the same exhaust as the ISx50, tanabe should have put at least different tips for the F

Not bad! I'd definitely be down for some videos or sound clips I have the same question as everyone else regarding tip size so I won't ask again

Great, you guys open a 3rd tread about this, at least this time we have a side pic... But no dyno, no sound clip, no videos...

Large fart cans are not for me, I'll stick with the stacked quad exhaust and some JoeZ piping behind it !

Finally done!!! Cannot decide if I like the single tips there. Quad tips in that stlye wouldve been a better look IMO. Maybe sound clips will make up for it.

Is the 11.8 and 21.8 rear wheel or crank?

Come on you all. Give them some time to get the videos and other info up. We're fortunate a manufacturer is on our forums to share info about their newest and latest product. This is a unique opportunity we have with Tanabe, most other car communities can only wish for. We are given advanced notice with their newest products. Most companies out there don't have time to do that. Kudos to Tanabe for their efforts.

I like the appearance of the ginormous tips! They're huge like the the exhaust on the GT-R. Even though Tanabe didn't keep the quads, the exhaust still looks potent.
