So, I'm at the drag strip and it's mostly street cars with the occasional hotrod. I'm pretty consistent with the RT and generally hook up pretty well. I've beaten the C6 corvette (either auto or bad manual driver), I beat the C5, G8, modded Trailblazer SS, modded Z28 etc. etc. I keep on clicking them off one at a time. I line up with an ordinary C6 again and once again, I've gotten the holeshot and just clicking away at the paddle. Suddenly, I hear this nasty nasty whine and it's freaking GONE! Trapped over 130 something. It was a force fed C6 corvette! Man, when something is going 20-30 mph quicker than you at the end of the strip, it reminds you that we're not that fast...

Any pics or vids of the run?! You were still able to put down 12.3 in the F though weren't you? That corvette must of just been flying

you were using the paddles to shift manually??? on a strip? why? paddles for road course, full auto for strip.

The IS350 is faster in full auto mode, but the IS-F in manual mode changes software to shift more aggressively and will actually be a few tenths faster than full auto mode!

Hey Rodney, nice to see you here! Congrats on the 125 pass - if we had a little better DA, you probably would've gotten 126 maybe 127 and beaten the E55 motor only record! Your car was smoking! I remember the first run was between you and me and I got the hole shot on you and right as we passed the 1/4 mark, I see you flying by - if I remember, you were doing 121 on that first run and I was around 111-112? I was sure glad that I got a headstart. LOL

Too bad for your cousin in his Viper - but he should be so happy we didn't wreck on the barriers! I don't blame him for not running anymore - I wouldn't either.

Thanks! Yeah the DA for the e55 that set the record(126.57) was at -2000ft while we were at -500ft. So corrected I may have the highest trap . My reaction time on our run together was a 1.05 while yours was a .27 :P...I waited to brake torque at the right rpm before I left...the tree lights came down too fast.

Just saw a E55 and tried to get him to play - No luck. - it had a blackwater sticker in the back window and I saw him take off from the previous light pretty quick - I figured he would certainly want to give it a run.

I just got beat by a E55 today but I'm pretty sure he was heavily modified. Thing sounded down right nasty.
