Default Winter Wheel Option

Ok, so I FINALLY got something to get me through until my OZ Ultraleggera's come in (they were out of stock on the Chronos so I had to pick something else because I couldn't wait any longer).

These are 18" FRONT ISx50 wheels with the Bridgestone Blizzak LM's. I'm personally not a big fan of them but they will serve a purpose for now. Of course, they are not even in the same ballpark for grip on dry pavement, but I did find them a softer ride on the highway due to the higher profile.

Hope this helps some of you

Wow so those OEM front 18's fit, but the typical split spoke OEM 18's don't?! Actually I think this setup looks fine for winter use in your area. Also what size tires are on the rear?

Those were the rear tires The tires are the same at all four corners.

The set up is OK. But considering that the BBS wheels are outstanding (and expensive...almost $3K each up here)....I was quite dissappointed that there wasn't a second wheel option that was specific to the IS F. No offense to ISx50 owners....but I'm not really interested in having the same wheels as all of those cars. When I pre-paid for a winter wheel/tire package at order, I was expecting two sets of IS F wheels....not one set of IS F wheels and one ISx50.

I think the black OZ's will look much better with my SGM color anyways

Nice purchase to hold you over until your OZ's come in

I'm surprised they clear the brakes of the F. They honestly don't look that bad on your SGM but please post pics of the OZ's when you get them

I actually didn't purchase them....the dealership loaned them to me because of the f*** up with the F Sport wheels that damaged my calipers. The tires will be swapped to my new rims and both rear calipers replaced.

Sorry did I play into your frustration just a little too much.
your OZ's will be a better wheel anyway, despite the dealer fee and misunderstanding. I mean I like the stock BBS, but the OZ wheels are fantastic especially in black.

Thanks for the update. Do you happen to know the offset and backspacing on the ISx50 wheels (or where could I find the specs)?

Great so this explains it...

Looks like the 18" Lexus ISP Mode Wheels from the 2IS wil clear Front & Rear IS-F Brembo brakes...

Thanks for the pics!!!
.
This will help many IS-F owners..

FYI - These are of course hubcentric, which is always a plus... !!!

Are the ISPs on the car all 18x8.5?
