I saw that one just the other day. IMO the ISF basically got bumped out of position from driver mistakes, not because the car isn't as fast as the C63 or M3. Kinda looked rigged

The IS-F looks to be tail wagging happy on exit turns. You can see the driver constantly correcting the over steering on each exit. Wonder if wider tires or LSD would help. At the end the "Best Lap Time" the IS-F still hang pretty close to the M3 and AMG C63.

hm...still good...although the IS-F wasn't first or 2nd...the car seem very close...plus I doubt we can ever drive like those race car drivers even on a track...haha... I mean I think we should just have fun with our cars...I will hopefully be taking my car to the track soon with some friends with their m3 dct, and c63 amg...haha

I wouldn't call it rigged but agree that the mistakes cost the IS-F, and the C63, positions but the BMW was clearly driven faster.

The C63 could rocket down the straights and keep the IS-F and BMW behind it once it got there. However the C63 made a mistake under braking and the BMW pounced. Then the BMW was able to build up enough of a lead in the twisty parts to negate the advantage of the C63 down the straights.

The IS-F had a moment because somehow it allowed *both* the C63 and the BMW around it in just two corners. By their race times you can see they are all very, very close with drivers playing role.

Sweet rides all around! Would have loved to have seen an RS4 in there.

Interestingly enough that the IS-F had the best lap, 1'08"615 (L2). The M3 had the second best at 1'08"619 (L4).

That tail-wagging business though, needs to be corrected.

As far as I could see, out of all 4 cars the IS-F was the only one shifting before redline. The C63, M3 and IS-F are well matched.

thre M35 you described is actually a 2nd gen G35 sedan. I cant believe they even included it in this race. Best motoring guys do stuff like that and they put the slower car way out front. I used to collect these best motoring videos when I had my G35 sedan

or knowing best motoring, g35 would be replaced with a gtr as the "camera car." otherwise known as "the car that gets in the way and messes up the race." i never take their races seriously anymore.

Hi everyone.


well i've just downloaded the latest MotoRing episode and they had a really interesting race in the tsikuba or whatever it is circuit, the race included the M3 sedan, C63 AMG, IS-F and the G35 under the name of skyline ( i think it's modified or something)

anyways the result was really dissapointing:
1st: M3
2nd: C36
3rd: IS-F

i think the driver had alot to do with losing the lead, he understeered alot.

I think the main problem for the ISF is the contact patch. I watched this video quite a while back.
