Track event on May 30, 2008, Friday at Auto Club Speedway -Fontana, CA. ......anybody want to go?

So to drive IS-F you gotta pay up $295 for 4hrs?? I wonder what kind of on track time you are getting out of this in 4 hours? Probably no solo either.

You get to drive it but you also have the instructors teaching you how to drive it and other Lexus cars there...heh

they had driving school before (full day) and it was a lot of driving and track experience, together with instructors teaching you. it's worth the money for people who attended before

I rather not have the dead weight on my right side killing all the fun. But I guess in these kind of events where you drive someone else' cars, I can't expect to hit the track solo

There is another one, being put on Lexus in Illinois, where we take our cars to the track and get to drive solo, or so I understand... The one I'm talking about is in Joliet on April 25.

This sounds awesome, I signed up for 7:30 too. Hopefully work won't get in the way; at least we get a week in advance to cancel. Look forward to seeing you guys there. Mini-meet in the parking lot?

You will be driving the cars that Lexus provides. No one will be allowed to take their own cars on the track.

If no one will be allowed to take our own cars, why do they have a safety inspection check list for our cars? The registration has a section for safety inspection of OUR vehicles and it has things like tread depth, windshield cracks, etc.

heh yup...I don't want to wreck my own car...heh...might as well use the Lexus provided vehicles...but also I want to learn from the pro-drivers on how to drive the car... Plus $295 to have pro-drivers teach you to drive on the track and free food and goodies from Lexus is worth it...heh I mean the track if you pay by yourself is aleady 240 bucks...
