I'm paying $450 every 6 months in AZ with Geico (33yo M w/1 ticket & no claims in past 7 yrs). I have 100/300 coverage w/$50k property damage and $0 glass deductible.

It's not just about driving record these days, they use a ton of different factors. Previous claim history has a lot to do with it because insurance companies obviously want to pay out as little as possible, so they're going to charge someone more if they have a high claim history even if they have a perfect driving record.

The area you live in also has a lot to do with it because they look at car thefts as well as accidents where you will be doing your driving. And credit score plays a big part as well because they see people with good credit as being more responsible, and claim rates are also statistically higher among people with lower credit scores.

So someone could have a spotless driving record but have poor credit, live in a high claim area and have several claims on their record, and he is going to pay more than someone who has a poor driving record but excellent credit and lives in a low claim area and has and no claims on record.

Everyone keeps saying you have to compare apples to apples and that not all people have the same coverage.

Maybe the OP did not care about the type of coverage and just wanted to know the premium/price?

I pay for a '11 ISF-
$930 / 6 months

For those that want to compare:

$250 deductible
$15k/$15k/$30k monetary coverage
rental vehicle
multipe car + home owners insurance discount
I have a couple bad things on my record as well. 2 of them to be exact.
