I am from a medium size town in Alabama and was crusing around last night and past by where all the dealerships where. I went by BMW surpisingly they had 3 M6's, 1 new M3 and 1 M5 and a few 335's.. Then I cruise up the street to Lexus and on the corner of my eye I saw the 19 inch BBS on an IS!! I thought noway - NO freakin way - how does a small lexus dealership who never has more than 30 lexus get an ISF?!?! I pull in and two of them were parked side by side a silver one and a black one!! This is the first time I had seen an ISF in person -- All i can say is Whoa!!! the pictures of it does not do this car justice - the hood bulge does not exist on this car in person.. The black one is so sinister - I love it!! and the silver was surprisingly beautiful - not flat silver looking as the pictures would suggest..I somehow was really drawn to the silver ISF - i had no idea why - maybe the silver and the darken wheels really fits its physical physique.. I thought to myself - having owning a Silver GS now for 9 years.. I know i don't want another Silver car but why am I so drawn to this silver car?? I started walking towards the show room to look at the Gs460 they had and behold the Ultrasonic Blue ISF on the show room floor.. I stop in my tracks - pulled out my pda phone and just started snapping pics.. The color is Phenomenal - it literally looks like a Blue Pearl -- freakin Awesome.. I could not keep my eyes off of it...!! After window shopping and pretty much drooled all over the glass I went back to the 2 ISF's to get their pics.. I'm still very drawn to the Silver ISF.. Really - I wasn't planning on buying a car right now except maybe a new daily driver. I may take the Plunge today - Blue or Silver.. Ultrasonic is the best color I've ever seen but the Silver overall has a nice balance with the darken wheels.. overall very beautiful.. but the Blue is unbelievable!!!

Holy car gods.. please help me decide..Should I pull the trigger on an ISF today ?!?

get the Ultrasonic Blue!!! I am biased... I just think of it as a unique color for the IS-F since all the other colors are shared by the regular ISx50 cars.

Only the "Hot ones" are shared...

Like Obsidian (212), Smoky Granite Mica (1G0), Starfire Pearl (077) & Matador Red Mica (3R1)..

Two new colors for the IS / F series are the Ultrasonic Blue Mica (8U1) & Mercury Metallic (1F2)

I really like the Obsidian and it wasn't even my first choice (my first choice was blue w/ white interior).

so which dealer had them??? theres only 4 in AL and Huntsville seems to be the only medium sized one out of the four.

The Blue one will definitely set you apart, but good luck on the white seats.

All 3 ISF(s) have Black leather.. As much as I like the white Leather - I think the black interior is more functional and useable - I'm a very clean person but If i had the white interior - i think i would spend more time cleaning the interior than driving the car..

Yeah, I went to my bank this week and I was approved but my payments would be about $1200 /month on the ISF.. Grrr - so Lately I've been trying to justify this purchase. I ran all the numbers and its alittle ridiculous since ISF payments would cost as much as my house payment.. As much as I'm hating this - I'll have to take a pass on purchasing one right now.

I passed by the dealership yesterday and all 3 ISF's was still there.. OMG - This is Killing me right now..

Maybe Next Year...

Not getting a depreciating $62k car in todays economy with gas prices at $4.00/gal is a smart move.

There is no car in the world I would pay $1200 a month for. Unless I was making $200k+ a year.
