Lexus dealers in Hawaii are a different entity entirely then the the Lexus dealers in the continental U.S. Dealers in the continental states can't even sell you a car to be "exported" to Hawaii, in order to protect the Hawaiian dealer's interests.

They may even have different builds shipped there then we get here.

My "F," delivered Thursday (2-8) at Lexus of Portland, does NOT have folding outside rear-view mirrors.

I've noticed that none of the cars I've seen in pics so far on this forum seem to have the power folding mirrors (at the very least, not enabled by default).

All of the IS-F's that we have had (6 so far), have not had power folding mirrors.

No power folding mirrors on my San Diego IS F. Maybe the power folding mirrors are only on the European cars where they really need them.

I picked up mine on Tuesday and it does not have power mirrors. I dont think any of the U.S. models have power mirrors.

This is a very useful feature for states/provinces that use car ferries as part of their road network. Washington and British Columbia in Canada come to mind. Cars are usually parked in narrow lanes on ferries that make it difficult for passengers to walk between them without hitting the mirrors...most useful feature.

It's also useful for idiot drivers and even idiot pedestrians. I've had people hit my side mirrors with their arms when squeezing by my car in a parking lot. I mean, shouldn't the reason not to do that be the fact that it HURTS?

sorry guys but none of the "regular production" models were produced with power folding mirrors. I know some of the prototypes had them but not on the production model.
