Still going on about the "fake" quad tailpipes -_-

Overall, a very good review.

Yep. Another positive review for the IS-F. They're not sure how it fits in with the other cars in the class, but they said Lexus got it right on the first try. Pretty promising.

Good little read, too bad they didn't update the information about the stacked quad exhausts though. The 0-60 time seems to be more on the mark.

Yes i completely agree, those are excellent times for the Lexus, that makes 2 mags now that have beat lexus's claim of 4.6 - Once again Edmunds should really be penalized somehow for such a bad review . . . biased . . . i think so . . . didnt edmunds's review also have the audi quicker in the slalom ? It clearly dominated it here . . . jus like the AMCI driver

nice review...and about the stacked exhausts...seems like lexus hasn't allowed the magazines to test the IS-F that does have the quad exhaust tips attached to the muffler...I saw the IS-F at the LA Auto Show and it was still unattached exhaust tips to the mufflers...heh

71.2-mph slalom speed is amazing, the fastest ever for a 4-door sedan as R&T says in the data panel. Kudos to Lexus!

Yea I found that out to pretty cool as well. Didnt know they benchmarked Porsche either. Good stuff Lexus!!!

"Its 71.2-mph slalom speed is damn impressive for such a heavy sedan (3825 lb.), eclipsing not only the Audi RS 4 (68.9 mph) but also the Porsche Cayman S (70.6 mph). The 911 Carrera 4S barely edges the Lexus, at 71.5 mph. "

I've seen videos of the IS-F and the porsche having at it on the ring. Wasn'y sure what exactly the were benchmarking (thinking maybe it was just the time), but it's good to know that handling was the goal.
