If I cut them would the check engine light come on anyone did this b4?

NO there are no emissions controls going to the resinators I cut them on my F and had no problems.

Cut it out and welded up 2.5 diameter pipe also I replaced the factory mufflers with magna flows. Not loud at all but still louder than stock but not too crazy. Very tolerable.
