I am really eager to get this upgrade done this summer.
After driving my Porsche cayenne GTS for few weeks now, the steering on my 2010 F feels very dull, which bothers me especially since Cayenne is a truck
I'm sure you can get the same deal but you will have to pay to have it shipped to you. I'm local, 15min away from the dealer.

Thanks, I will call them in a week or two to order.
Please post your review when installed. You will be the first guy to upgrade to the xx42 unit

Guys, the discussion about using pirated software needs to end here. It violates the rules and it brings considerable heat from Lexus. If there is any more discussion of using illegal versions of Techstream, the thread will disappear permanently.

Just bought ( Sewell @$430) and installed. Had my Toyota dealer do the Techstream initilization ($134)as the steering was not programmed. There is a very noticable improvement in steering responce and feel on my 09 IS350 with the (Power/Sport) button depressed. I have a track event at Thunderhill this July 18th, I'll let everyone know what the difference is.

So I can really feel a difference in the car. I used to spin the Passenger wheel like CRAZY when I floored it turning right from a stop. That is now almost completely gone! The steering is MUCH tighter and responsive when driving over 60mph. Can't wait to try it on the track in 2 weeks. (This is all with the Power/Sport) button engaged.

I was told the part was on back order for 3 weeks, this Friday is 3 weeks. Something tells me it won't be here. When I called last Friday, they told me the part ETA date is still red, which means there is still no firm date.

Does anybody know if the elsd is controlled by the steering ecu, or is it by the main ecu. What I'm asking is when I install my new 2014 steering computer, will the elsd be gone? As I have the 2010 torsion unit, I don't want the elsd option.

So I just got in from my not so fun experience. I was using tech stream checking out the program and it's capabilities when I wasn't paying attention to my car's battery. Doesn't my battery die while playing with the steering calibration tool? So I call my brother inlaw to give me a boost, car starts up no problem to find out I've lost my steering! I remember driving an old honda civic without power steering and I thought that was a mission, try steering the ISF without it! I parked my car in my underground and rebooted the program. I was able to calibrate the steering ECU and power steering came back instantly. Thank God. I'm yet to receive my 2014 steering ECU, I was just trying out the calibration tool to see if it works and it does like a charm.

I've cleaned up this thread from a few rude responses that I'll ask not be continued.

Reminder this is the IS-F forum, get's a little confusing when 2IS topics get intermingled.

Re calibrated the steering angle today with the Techstream...it took about 5 minutes.

What really freaked me out, is when it is completing the cycle, the steering wheel goes haywire and shakes violently with left and right vibrations...(although the Techstream warns you this is about to happen)
