12.0 last year on street tires, which was not easy and I really wanted to hit 11's. Lots of low 12's that day with mediocre 60' times as it was a very fine line between losing grip and not enough throttle. In cold temps with no sun to help heat up the track on street tires, its really difficult even with excellent track prep.

Do you use auto at the strip or shift with the paddles?

Road and track had the same time to 60, but a 12.6 in the quarter Quickest stock (magazine) times that I've seen

btw, it is quite amazing to me how fast this car is with just headers, exhaust, let alone dropping drag radials on it....wow!

Hello Everybody,

I just purchased a 2008 Lexus ISF with 95k miles. Bought it off the original owner. He was an older gentleman/doctor who seemed to take excellent care of. He only had it serviced at Lexus. That said, it is bone stock and to my knowledge it was pampered all it's life. I took it to the track last night and my best time was 14.321 @103MPH. My shift points were right at 6,900RPM. I did try it in auto mode and I ran a 14.561 @98MPH. It was always in Sport mode. From what I am reading this car should be pushing out much more. Any ideas? Age of car? Driver? I am a bit disappointed in the car so I am hooding either I am doing something wrong or something is going wrong with the car.

run some fuel system/injector cleaner like royal purple on a tank. then unplug battery and allow Ecu to reset.
it would be worth your time to data log...see what your timing is doing/AFR/etc

Yea I drive mine like a grandpa and the car slows itself down it seems. I have to also do an ecu reset and tune up to get it back to full power.

Sure, I did a datlog the other day and my who was around 350 vs 405 what it usually is. The temps here are pretty bad in Florida too so that plays a big part. Iats were in the 130s and over.

Sure. I'm 57 years old and could be easily mistaken for a "grandpa" and my car has never been anything but pampered...

Maybe it's time for another age poll

Last one was done 9 years ago. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-f-owners.html

I would bet at least half the respondents from the previous poll are probably not ISF owners any more.

Did you check the DAs at track around the time you ran? A high DA will hurt your 1/4 mile times.
