I am just curious.
I owned a 2008 and now a 2012 ISF and every magazine seems to be showing much slower 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.
2008- 4.2 (0 to 60) and 12.7@ 114mph (1/4 mile)
2010-2013 4.5-4.8 (0-60) and 13.1@ 109mph (1/4 mile)
These are based on stock cars.
Just wondered if anyone else has noticed these differences.

I agree. It's obvious Lexus' claimed 4.6 second acceleration number is a "stomp and go" number with traction control engaged, sport mode enabled, and automatic up-shifts. You'll notice that higher end performance cars that do 0-60 in under 4 seconds all have a launch control procedure to get that number. In most cases, that launch control procedure can't be setup quickly enough or timed right for a stoplight race so it's a bogus number in the real world.

my 2011 was faster than my 2008, but so many other things to consider its a day to day toss up, track conditions , weather, tires, da, just a few things that will affect 0-60 and 1/4 mile times

I've been driving the ISF for over 5 years, 3.8yr on a 2008 and 1.5yr on a 2012. I always go to the same track thoughout the year, so same track, same driver, same way of driving. My 2012 is slower than my 2008 from a dig, all the time. From a roll they're the same, through corners the 2012 feels better.

This site, which lists 0-60 times, places the 2011 IS-F at 4.2 sec.

Autorooster places it at 4.5 sec

MotorTrend claims 4.3 sec for the 2011 model

One big difference in 0-60 times for the F is, what mode did you use? Both standard and sport mode work to minimize wheelspin, so the fastest 0-60 times would come from disabling the stability systems and relying on a talented right foot.
On a personal note, I've never yet had a car get past me in a 1v1 on the highway.
